Flele shell list

Hiya! Just figured i'd make a journal for people who need morehelp with getting FLELE.

What is FLELE you ask? well it's a japanese mp3 player that looks like a little chibi character singing on your desktop! kinda like the little guy in blue on the left here [link]

cute ne?~


Now let's install FLELE!

1: Create a new folder called Flele onto your desktop. _{it'll help avoid confusion}

2: now click this [link] and extract its contents into the Flele folder you've created on your desktop. Now you should have FLELE on your comp!!

3: now doubleclick on your Flele folder, then double click on the folder in there called ssp_flele_miku then double click on the application called SSP _{it's looks like a pink bow with a cat bell}

4: ok now FLELE should be running. let's make it english! right click on either the character that popped up or the white circular icon in your toolbar, then choose language and make it english! then right click again and choose the last choice on the bottom.. it'll close the program. now reopen it and the right click menu should be in english! yays!

5: now we're gonna make it so it'll stay ontop of all your windows. right click again and go to options then make sure always show foreground has a checkmark ifit doesn't click it. and voila!

and that concludes the instalation


Now you just need to drag an mp3 onto it and presto!



Fun thing about FLELE is that you can chage the look of your singing character by downloading shells!

Shell downlading powers activate!

BEFORE YOU START DOWNLOADING ANY SHELLS YOU SHOULD HAVE WINACE OR WINRAR! You can't extract RARs without either of them. you can get Winrar free at download.com [link]

1: Close FLELE

2: download the .RAR or .ZIP of the shell you want. then extract it's contents into this specific place C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\Flele\ssp_flele_miku\ghost\flele_aya\shell

3: now open up FLELE and right click on the character and goto shell then, choose the name of thecharacter's shell you just downloaded.

And poof! it should be there!


according to a site these are the buttons and their uses:

Face - Play/stop
Ear - Play/stop
Feet - Clear
His left arm - menu
His right arm - rewind

How to pet your FLELE

yes that's right! you can pet your FLELE! just move your mouse side to side over the top of its head. easy as that!


HOW TO GET YOUR FLELE TO CHECK YOUR MAIL!!

tested the Flele mail check through yahoo and gmail. It doesn't work through Hotmail because hotmail doesnt offer POP.

For Gmail_
First enable POP by going to your account and clicking on Settings, then click on the POP/IMAP tab. Enable POP for all mail. Save changes. Then on Flele go to preferences, and click on the POP tab. Click Add, a small window will open up. Input the following information.
Account_ (your full email address)
Server_ pop .gmail.com (w/o spaces)
Port_995
Username_(email address w/o the @gmail.com)
Password_(your password)
check the "Uses SSL/STL" box
Input how often you want it to check your inbox.DONE

For Yahoo!_
First enable POP by going to your account, click on Options>Mail Options. Then go to Accounts, click add/edit account. It'll open up a window with the classic Yahoo!mail format,thats only temporary. Click Edit, then click on Account Information, it will proceed to ask you for your password;type it in. After that it'll show you your Yahoo! ID card, change the preferred content to Yahoo! Asia. Save all changes. Close that window and go back to Mail Options. Click on POP & Forwarding , then click on Setup/Edit POP&Forwarding. Check Web & POP Access. Save changes. Then go to your preferences on Flele, click on the POP tab,click Add. Input the following_
Server_plus .pop.mail.yahoo.com (w/o spaces)
Port_ 995
Username_(your email address without the @yahoo.com)
password_ (your password) [obviously]
check the "Uses SSL/STL" box
Put in how often you want it to check your inbox. All DONE!

Flele does check through more than one account. But for some reason,(at least when I tested it) it won't check all of them; just the one that was last added I believe. But you can manually check them too, you do that by going to Preferences> POP and checking the boxes next to the accounts. Then after that you just right click and go to Check Mail, and choose which account you want it to check.


Troubleshooting section

These are important things you must do to see why your FLELE ain't playing your mp3.

1: install East Asian Languages. to do this goto your control panel, then Your computers language options, then Add languages and then finally Install files for East Asian languages. Don't have the cd it asks for? then continue down to the east asian languages section.

2: Make sure the mp3s you are trying to play are, in fact, MP3. it won't play WMA.

3: Make sure there is no kanji and odd characters in the song's name... it doesn't like it when there's weird stuff... keep the names simple with just letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens... _{though i'm not sure about the underscores and hypens}


East Asian Languages

This section is for people who do't have their XP cd anymore.

#1: you'll need to download a Torrent client thing... like azureus. [link]

#2: then once it's installed you download this torrent [link]

#3: then once the torrent is downloaded you go back to your control panel and redo the process to install east asian languages. it'll ask for the (cd) location of the files. you browse to your azureus downloads folder (most probably in your documents) and choose the east asian languages folder it created for the torrent files. then it should work and intall the language pack.
